What I Build

I build visual systems that run in real time, in real rooms, in front of real audiences. That covers interactive installations, TouchDesigner systems, projection and show control, generative and AI visual direction, and teaching the same to other teams. Below is what each of those actually involves, how an engagement can be shaped, and where I am not the right person to call.

01

Interactive Installations

Sensor-driven rooms where visitor movement changes image and sound in real time.

  • Sensor layout, coverage plan, and 3D calibration
  • Tracking pipeline — LiDAR, depth camera, or motion capture
  • Interaction logic and state design (idle, welcome, active, reset)
  • Real-time visual system, typically built in TouchDesigner

Real-Time Visual Systems

TouchDesigner systems that replace render queues with visuals you can adjust in the room.

  • Custom TouchDesigner system built around your production, not a template
  • Real-time 3D environments and GLSL shader work
  • Generative visual systems driven by audio, data, or performer input
  • Multi-surface output mapped to the venue's real geometry

03

Projection Mapping and Show Control

Mapped venues and live show logic for theatre, performance, and large-format spaces.

  • Venue mapping and projector blending across multiple surfaces
  • Anamorphic camera systems tuned to real audience sightlines
  • Show control logic — cues, scenes, transitions, and live triggers
  • Cue structures timed to performers rather than a fixed timeline

04

Generative and AI Visual Direction

AI and generative pipelines used as art direction, not as a prompt lottery.

  • Visual direction and reference development for the generative language
  • Custom dataset preparation and model training where the look requires it
  • Image and video synthesis at production volume
  • Interpolation, compositing, and integration with recorded or stock footage

Workshops and Training

TouchDesigner and interactive visuals taught through signal flow, not node trivia.

  • Workshop designed around your group's actual level and goals
  • Working project files participants keep and can build on
  • Signal-flow framing that transfers beyond one piece of software
  • Real production examples and the constraints that shaped them

Have something like this coming up?

Send the rough scope, the venue, and the dates. If it is not a good fit I will say so, and where I can I will point you to someone better placed.
